2. What data we collect

By filling in the application forms on this website, you may submit the following data:

• identification and contact information - name, surname, phone number, email address;
• information related to the insured object - vehicle registration plate, registration certificate number, car value, property address and description, travel details;
• information related to preparing the offer - driver's age and experience, number of persons to be insured, your stated wishes and comments.

3. Purpose and legal basis of processing

Your data is processed in order to:

• prepare and send you insurance offers (pre-contractual measures - Article 6(1)(b) GDPR);
• contact you about your application (your consent - Article 6(1)(a) GDPR);
• comply with obligations laid down in legislation concerning insurance distribution (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).

4. Data transfer

To prepare an offer, your data may be transferred to insurance companies licensed in Latvia from which offers are requested, as well as, in cases provided for by law, to state institutions (e.g. the Latvian Motor Insurers' Bureau). Data is not sold or transferred to third parties for marketing purposes, and it is not transferred outside the EU/EEA.

5. Retention period

Application data is stored for as long as necessary to prepare the offer and communicate with you. If a policy is not concluded, the data is deleted no later than within 1 year. If a policy is concluded, the data is stored in accordance with the periods laid down in legislation.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

• access your data and receive a copy of it;
• request correction or deletion of data;
• restrict processing or object to it;
• withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal);
• lodge a complaint with the Data State Inspectorate (www.dvi.gov.lv).

7. Cookies and analytics

Cookies necessary for the operation of the page (technical) are always used. Analytics cookies - Google Analytics 4, which allows us to understand in an anonymised way how visitors use the page - are activated only after your consent in the cookie banner.
